When I think back to the early 2000s, Indonesian music was dominated by the likes of Dewa 19 and Ungu - catchy, commercial pop that made its way into every Indonesian household. Fast forward to today, and it's a whole different story. The country's music scene has given birth to a new breed of artists who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible. I remember the first time I heard Plug Me Vol 1, back in 2018. It was like nothing I'd ever heard before - raw, unapologetic, and full of life. The way BAKOSTO YU experimented with sounds and styles was truly innovative, and it's no wonder that the album gained a cult following in Indonesia. With Plug Me Vol 2, it seems like the band has taken everything they learned from the first album and pushed it to the next level.
