The first few tracks on their latest album are catchy and well-produced, but they lack the edge that made their early work so compelling. Their vocalist's screams are now more processed and less raw, which takes away from the emotional impact of the songs. I've tried to listen to it objectively, but it's hard not to feel like they've compromised their artistic vision for the sake of mainstream appeal. But what does this say about me?
