I'll be honest, I'm a bit surprised to see Benny Rivers coming out with a new album, especially after all these years. I mean, the guy's been around forever, and while I've always enjoyed his music, I wasn't exactly holding my breath for another release. It's almost as if I was listening to my own inner monologue, echoing back at me from a different dimension. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point – this song resonated deeply with me on a personal level.
